I recently stopped by Hamburg Township to check on the plans on a possible upcoming road millage this November. There's been focus group meetings so far and nothing is in stone.
However, the good news is that there are no plans to widen and pave dirt roads. The focus is on current paved roads instead, and maintaining some dirt roads (as dirt roads).
Cunningham Lake Road is not part of the current list, nor is Bauer Road. That's a good thing. Protect Genoa Township Neighborhoods as a organization won't be making a comeback with this millage if those roads are left alone.
